In compliance with “The Disposition of Unclaimed Property Act”, Sawnee Electric Membership Corporation is attempting to locate former members to whom checks were issued for the period July1, 2002 through June 30, 2003, but which have been returned by the U. S. Post Office as “undeliverable” or have otherwise been unclaimed.

A current list of these members, and their last known addresses, is maintained at our corporate office located at 543 Atlanta Road, Cumming, Georgia, for review from 8 am – 5 pm, M-F. To claim these funds you must show adequate proof of identity and should contact our offices immediately.

The last possible date to claim these funds is October 15, 2008. Funds not claimed by this date, will be turned over to the State of Georgia, as directed by “The Disposition of Unclaimed Property Act”.
