Sawnee EMC Update- Winter Weather 2002

Please use this information for any updates regarding Sawnee EMC
preparation for winter weather.
The National Weather Service in Peachtree City, Georgia is
forecasting snow for Wednesday, January 02, 2002 and a “Winter Mix” of sleet,
snow and frozen precipitation for Sunday, January 6, 2002. Please be advised
that Sawnee EMC, headquartered in Cumming, Georgia is prepared for this winter
weather situation.
All Sawnee EMC employees, as well as contract crews are on
“standby” for any situation that may arise due to this winter weather. We do not
anticipate any complications from the snow that is predicted for Wednesday and
Thursday; although we are prepared for the worst. We are currently monitoring
the forecast for the “Winter Mix” on Sunday and will be prepared accordingly if
problems arise.
