AIR CONDITIONING APPRECIATION DAYS

        (Cumming, July 9, 2003)--- The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute has named July 3 through August 15 as “Air Conditioning Appreciation Days”.

“In honor of the occasion, homeowners may take a few simple steps that will help them save energy and reduce operating costs,” states Blake House, Vice President of Marketing and Legislative Affairs.

§         Clean or replace air conditioner filters frequently.

§         Schedule annual air conditioner inspections by trained professionals.

§         Remove fallen leaves, grass clippings and foliage from around your outdoor unit.

§         Keep inside vents and ducts free of blockage.

§         Caulk and install weather stripping around windows and doors.

§         Keep windows and doors closed when using the air conditioner.
