RESIDENTIAL TIME-OF-USE RATE

SCHEDULE TU-16

    Available in all territory served by the Cooperative in accordance with the Service Rules and Regulations.

APPLICABILITY

    Applicable to loads that qualify for service under Schedule H-13.

CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

  1. The consumer must require permanent year around service.
  2. The consumer must agree to take service under Schedule TU-16 for a minimum of 14 consecutive months.
  3. Schedule TU-16 will be limited to applications from qualifying consumers receiving service on or after the effective date.
  4. Schedule TU-16 will be further limited to new or existing consumers who meet energy efficiency construction requirements.

TYPE OF SERVICE

    Single-phase, 60 hertz, at available secondary voltages. (Three-phase service available under special terms and conditions as described in the applicability section above).

Base Charge - Single Phase

MINIMUM CHARGE

    The minimum monthly charge shall be the base charge plus $1.00 per kVA of installed transformer capacity in excess of 15 kVA.

WHOLESALE POWER COST ADJUSTMENT

    The above rates shall be increased or decreased subject to the provisions of the Corporation's Wholesale Power Cost Adjustment Schedule R.

DETERMINATION OF ON-PEAK AND OFF-PEAK ENERGY

    The On-Peak Period shall be those hours, Monday - Friday, beginning at 3:00 p.m. and ending at 8:00 p.m. during the summer months (June 1 - September 10), excluding July 4 and Labor Day. All other hours shall be considered the Off-Peak Period.

    The On-Peak Energy shall be the kilowatt-hours recorded during the On-Peak Period. The Off-Peak Energy shall be the kilowatt-hours recorded during the Off-Peak Period.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

    The bill is due upon receipt and payable within ten (10) days thereafter.

ADDITIONAL ADJUSTMENTS AND RIDERS

    The bill calculated at the above rate is subject to change in such an amount as may be determined under the provisions of the Corporation’s Service Rules and Regulations or upon action by Sawnee EMC’s Board of Directors including but not limited to termination of this schedule.
