2008 Commercial Incentives and Rebates
Members can receive grants for making recommended
improvements to their business. Member MUST
have an on-site evaluation performed by a Commercial Marketing
Representative (CMR) and accompanied by the CMR’s recommended
measures to be eligible for grant money. Grant money is not paid
until ALL recommended measures have been inspected and
verified by the CMR. It is at the CMR’s sole discretion to decide
which measures are necessary and applicable at the site. Grant
money may be obtained through the calendar year of 2008 while funds
are available. Measures not completed within thirty (30) days of
recommendation are subject to change. Program and Grants are
subject to change without notice. Grants may be obtained
for the following when recommended.

Purchase Energy Efficient Office Equipment
Purchase Energy Star qualified office equipment to replace
existing equipment in the office. |

Programmable Thermostats
When recommended by an ESR, a member can receive an energy grant for installing a programmable
thermostat to their structure’s Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system(s).

½ of the cost up to a maximum of $25.00 for each HVAC system

Lighting Upgrade
A member can receive an energy grant for upgrading existing
lighting systems to higher efficiency systems.

Solar Film Window Tinting
A member can receive an energy grant to assist in the application of solar window film tint to their structure’s existing windows.
Grant may include installation costs. |

Upgrade Equipment
A commercial member can receive a rebate when replacing a capitol intensive piece of
production equipment when the replacement piece results in substantial kilowatt savings.

Install an energy management system that can be used to control lighting,
HVAC settings, and other office functions. System must be in place and functioning properly before rebate is applied.
