A lot of things have changed since 1938 when Sawnee EMC (then Forsyth County REA) began serving the electric needs of 750 homes. The miles of line have increased dramatically to enable us to meet the needs of our members, which today numbers approximately 130,000 (the majority of which are residential customers). We want to be your ‘world class’ energy provider. One way we try to achieve this is by offering more services to you, our residential customer, than ever before.

Sawnee EMC offers several online services for the convenience of our residential customers...such as access to “your individual billing statement” and the ability to make payments through our E-bill program. Sawnee also offers different rates and other products and services to our residential customers.
