Residential Rebates and Incentives

Members can receive grants for making energy efficiency improvements to their home. It is recommended that members have an on-site evaluation performed by an Energy Services Representative to insure eligibility for grant funds prior to making an upgrade.

Upgraded measures must be inspected and/or verified by a Sawnee EMC Energy Service Representative. It is at Sawnee’s sole discretion to determine which measures are applicable at the site. Grant funds may be obtained throughout the applicable calendar year as available and while funds remain.

Programs and Grants are subject to change without notice. All rebates are issued as a "credit" on the qualifying member's Sawnee EMC electric bill on the billing statement following verification. These rebates only apply to work that is completed within the applicable calendar year and are not retroactive or prospective.

**The 2015 Rebate and Incentive program has been approved. The program, and its changes, will be effective on January 1, 2015. Click here to read about the 2015 rebate program in detail.**
