Now that you have all these great ideas to make your home more efficient, are you wondering where to start? We might be able to help you with that decision. Did you know that Sawnee EMC offs rebates to its members? It’s true. We want you to make your home more energy efficient. Keep reading to find out how you can save money while making you home more energy efficient. Attic Insulation – Upgrade your attic insulation to an R-38 or greater and Sawnee will refund ½ the cost up to a maximum of $200. Programmable Thermostat – Replace an existing manual thermostat with a programmable one and receive ½ the cost up to a maximum of $25 per HVAC system.Ventilation – Add an additional form of ventilation to your attic space and Sawnee will refund ½ the cost up to a maximum of $75. Residential Lighting – Purchase a minimum of 10 compact fluorescent light bulbs and receive ½ the cost up to a maximum of $20. |

It truly can’t be any easier. To be eligible for these rebates, you must have the item(s) installed or the work completed by December 31, 2007. To apply for your rebate, simply mail a copy of your receipts to Sawnee EMC, Attn: Energy Services, 543 Atlanta Highway, Cumming, GA 30040 or you can fax them to (678) 513-8106. Please be sure to include your name and SEMC account number. Upon verification, you will receive a check inn approximately 10-15 business days.
