Important Dates
Overview – What’s Happening When?
A public hearing will be held to consider three (3) new
PURPA “standards” established under the Energy Independence
and Security Act of 2007, which amended the Public Utility
Regulatory Policies Act of 1978 (“PURPA”). This page
contains important dates relative to Sawnee's PURPA hearing
and related activities. The hearing will consider the
issues and comments surrounding the following PURPA
standards: "Integrated Resource Planning," "Smart Grid
Information," and "Rate Design Modifications to Promote
Energy Efficiency Investments."
Persons desiring to participate in the hearing and related
events are encouraged to pay close attention to the various
deadlines listed here.
