We continue to see increased outages due to heavy rains and high winds. Currently over 58,000 members are without power. In a situation with widespread outages, such as this, the restoration process will be longer. We appreciate your patience as we work as quickly, and more importantly, safely to restore power to affected members.

Sawnee EMC is experiencing widespread outages throughout our service area due to Tropical Storm Zeta. Currently over 10,000 members are without power. Please continue to check back for additional updates and visit our Outage Center at https://www.sawnee.com/my-outage.

We are beginning to see widespread power outages in the western part of our service territory. Crews have already been assigned to these outages. The worst of the winds are predicted to arrive between 5 am and 6 am, so please be prepared just in case you experience an outage at your location. We will respond to outages immediately as they occur.
