(Cumming, November 18, 2020) – The Sawnee Electric Membership Foundation (Foundation) is currently accepting applications from high school seniors for the Foundation’s Youth Scholarship Program.  In place since 2003, this scholarship program has grown to become one of the largest and most successful in the area.

This scholarship is open to children of Sawnee EMC members and must be used at an accredited college or technical school.  To learn more about the scholarship program and to download the application, please visit www.sawnee.com/scholarships.  The deadline to apply is February 12, 2021.

The Foundation is also accepting applications for the Brian Johnson Memorial Scholarship, which must be used for the Electrical Lineworker Certification Program.  For more information and to download the application go to www.sawnee.com/lineworker-scholarship.
